Music

Life

Excellent piano player.

In 1832 he went to Petersburg where he be came a successful concert player and teacher (among others of grand-duchess Alexandra).

From 1850 onwards, he undertook long concert journeys. In 1852 he returned to Russia and lived alernately in Petersburg and Moscow.

He died, you could say, in the harness: at the piano, during a concert.
