Music

Cor de Groot composed, among others, concertos, and film music.

Life

Cor de Groot was also a pianist, arranger and Tonmeister (Hilversum). He used the pseudonyms Sherwood and Robert Clark. He virtually stopped playing the piano for a while after 1959 when paralysis was diagnosed in his right hand. He was a pupil of Ulfert Schults and Sem Dresden.
