Music

Compositions include: Fall River Legend, Interplay, Latin-American Symphonette (all ballets & orchestral pieces); Suite from Declaration, Jekyll and Hyde Variations, American Ballads (1976), Spirituals for Strings (1959), American Symphonette no. 2 (1938) and numerous other pieces.

Life

Prolific American composer, conductor arranger. Lived in Great Neck, L.I., N.Y. Worked in all mediums; composing, conducting arranging music. Had his own symphony orchestra at one time and was guest conductor of various orchestras, including Chicago Symphony with which he made a number of recordings for RCA.
