Jim Scully <jscullycsub.edu> writes: Dr. Gilmore teaches at UC Irvine (in southern California) now. I was fortunate enough to have him as a composition instructor in graduate school. He is still writing music and teaching full-time.

Editorial Review:

Album Description:
From Florent Schmitt's impressionistic "Dionysiaques" of 1913 to the 1970s crossover titles by Frank Zappa, this CD presents a variety of wind music from a 60-year period.
