Music

Gilbert’s recent pieces have garnered many awards, including his orchestral work "Terpsichoros", a song for soprano and string quartet "Dreams of You" and solo piano work "Scherzabolique". Other recent works include a string quartet, a duet for english horn and violin ("Yellow Roses") and a solo trumpet piece called "Epigrams".

Biography

Gilbert currently resides in Cleveland where he teaches Music Theory and History for the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve University. He is a conductor, an early music vocalist and a music writer for the Cleveland Free Times. (October, 2000)
