Editorial Review:

Album Description:
Raffaele Gervasio (1910-1994) was a composer of serious concert works, best-known for his film score 'Carosello Napoletano' ("Carousel of Naples"), 1954, the first major Italian musical after World War II, featuring the dubbed-in singing voice of Beniamino Gigli. This recording presents a number of his concert pieces for solo instrument and orchestra.
