Life
Composer, conductor and pedagogue. Disciple of Goffredo Petrassi in the Santa Cecilia Academy of Rome. From 1974 to 2003 professor of composition at the Royal Superior School of Music of Madrid. Also in Cádiz, Galicia and Santiago de Compostela.
Many awards, as: International Composition Prize in Siena, Italy (1955); Spanish National Prize (1993) Guerrero Foundation Prize (1993); SGAE (1996, 1998, 2000 and 2002).
