"VI Sonatas for a Flute and a Thorough Bass" (erroneously sometimes attributed
to Schickhardt), 6 sonatas for bassoon (or cello), 6 sonatas for cello, some
operas (now forgotten).

Biography
born in Celle (Germany), son of a wig-maker. oboist in the court orchestra at
Celle. Later he moved to London. He died in London in 1749.
