Life
Marzia Gaggioli was born in Rome in 1985.
She is a classical music composer but without any music knowledge.
She hasn’t had the possibility to study music, so she composes and plays just by ears.
When she was 14 years old she enrolled in the SIAE (Italian society for authors and editors) and completed the applications for enrolment saying “no writing composer”.
Many closed doors for her because of her lack of study, and she couldn’t take part to competitions for new composers, just forbidden to who has not a musical knowledge.
Anyway she didn’t give up and until now she has composed more then 800 pieces of music that she plays, arranges and records all be herself.
Marzia is also a jazz music composer and film and folk music composer too, but she is also a singer-songwriter of many different styles songs.
Painting, drawing and writing books are others passions in her life.
