i agree with anonymous i heard he had 7 wives and they all didnt care and knew about each other he was also the first recorded person to have a sex change thats why he is a boy he was born a girl

you are all wrong he was very healthy and diedat age 93 unlike most composers he did not drink. he wasvery godly and did not let the troubles of earth consume him.he did stop writing music at 54 however.

Gabrieli is the earliest know composer to use dynamic markings in his compositions.

Life

Giovanni Gabrieli is the nephew of composer Andrea Gabrieli.

The year of his death is uncertain — his death certificate says 1612, his tombstone says 1613. His birth date is unrecorded, but his death certificate says he was 58, while his tombstone claims he died at the tender age of 56.
