Music



Mainly composed works for the guitar, or guitar and other instruments. Was also nicknamed “Haydn of the guitar”.

Life

Guitar player and composers François de Fossa also was an offider in the French army. In that latter function he also fought in Mexico from 1798 till 1803. After that he worked in Spain. After the invasion of Napoleon in Spain he ended up in prison, but returned to France in 1814.
