Music

Especially know for his piano music. The first to write nocturnes, who were the prime inspiration for Chopin’s. Influenced by Muzio Clementi. In fact, he was far more than influenced by Clementi. He was one of Clementi’s most gifted students. Field traveled with his teacher throughout Europe performing Clementi’s music.
