Biography

Oscar Lorenzo Fernández was the composer in Brazil next to Heitor Villa-Lobos. He composed in a very Samba-Flavoured style and was deeply inspired by Brazilian Folkmusic. His Second Symphony was Premiered in Boston in 1949.
