Robert Farnon also wrote the music for more than forty motion pictures, including Maytime in Mayfair (1949) and Captain Horatio Hornblower RN (1951), as well as for a number of television series and miniseries, including The Prisoner and A Man Called Intrepid.
Biography
Born in Canada, Robert Farnon decided to stay in Europe after World War II, when he was there as Canadian Army captain and the conductor/arranger of the Canadian Band of the Allied Expeditionary Force.
