Committed to disseminating the works of Argentine classic music composers, in Tradition we thought it worthwhile to present a selection of compositions by two of them, Arnaldo D'Esposito and Juan Francisco Giacobbe, who reached an outstanding level in the quality of their musical production and personal qualities. They have in common having been born in the same year - 1907 - in the neighborhood of La Boca, traditionally more associated with Buenos Aires popular urban music than with classical music.

We approached the PROA Foundation with the project since, with over ten years of intense activity in the promotion of contemporary art, they are one of the major reference points in Buenos Aires based on the quality and importance of their projects and because their headquarters are located precisely in the neighborhood of La Boca. The Foundation received this proposal with great interest and it is thanks to their generous assistance that we were able to produce this CD that is now available to the public.
