Life

The Austrian operetta and film music composer Nico Dostal was a nephew of composer Hermann Dostal. In 1942 Dostal married the opera singer Lillie Claus. Their one son, Roman Dostal, later became a conductor. Nico Dostal is buried at the Salzburger Kommunalfriedhof.
