Biography
Joseph Dorfman was a new music composer, concert pianist, and scholar of Shostakovich .
He graduated from the Odessa Conservatory in 1965, left for Moscow in 1966 (where he did his doctoral dissertation on Hindemith at the Gnessin Institute) and moved to Israel in 1973.
