Music

His most famous work is likely “Le campagne de Roma” in F major. There is at least one recording of this by Fabio Biondi and Europa Galante (Virgin 63430).

Life

The Italian composer Demachi was also a violinist. He played first violin in the town orchestra of Alessandria. He also worked in Casale Monferrato, and Geneva (1771). He is known to have given concerts in London in 1791.
