Music

Coleman is a 33 year old contemporary composer who has written over 60 new works, inlcuding the symphonic work "Streetscape" which premiered last year at the innagural concert of Paavo Jarvi’s Cincinnati Symphony. "Streetscape" also was performed three nights at the San Francisco Symphony November 29, 30 and 31, 2002. He is the resident composer of the Absolute Ensemble, New York City.

Biography

Born in New York City, boy soprano at the Metropolitan Opera, the New York City Opera. MS, Manhattan School of Music. Has been premiered at Lincoln Center, Cincinnati Symphony etc. etc. Recently has been working as a classical disc jockey (substituting for George Preston)at WNYC-FM "Overnight".
