Music

Sleepy Lagoon, London Suite, Knightsbridge, Four Centuries (orchestral suite), Three Elizabeths, many songs and instrumental works.

Life

Studied viola and composition at the Royal Academy of Music. Member of the Hambourg String Quartet. First violist in the Queen’s Hall Orchestra (1912-1919). Toured the US in 1946 and South America in 1948 where he conducted radio performances of his works. Autobiography, Suite in Four Movements.
