Biography

Studied viola and composition at the Royal Academy of Music. Member of the Hambourg String Quartet. First violist in the Queen’s Hall Orchestra (1912-1919). Toured the US in 1946 and South America in 1948 where he conducted radio performances of his works. Autobiography, Suite in Four Movements.
