Dag Jos, er is zojuist een boek verschenen over o.m. Ciurlionis. Het is geschreven door Jan Brokken en het heet Baltische zielen. Het gaat uiteraard over Baltische componisten.

Amazing

Čiurlionis music is very amazing, I can listen to it all the time, it represents feeling very well.
My favorite is Miške (In the forest).

Life

Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis is a composer and a painter. To his musical credits count symphonic, chamber and vocal works.

As an artist (painter) he created paintings with musical terms like sonata, preludia, and fugue. His works can be seen in the Art Museum in Kaunas, Lituania. The museum is named after Čiurlionis.
