John Alden Carpenter is credited with having written The Knox Hymn, the alma mater of Knox College. The exact melody can be found on track #30 of the sound track of Ken Burns’ Lewis and Clark documentar, used as background music.(Contribution by <dtwhartonaol.com>.)
