Biography

Son of Johannes (Hans) Bach. Composer and organist, pupil of Johann Christoph Hoffmann in Sulh. In 1635 appointed Musical Director in Erfurt. He wrote many vocal works. Seen as oldest representative of the Bach family of composers.
