Life
Arriaga was a very promising composer, who also played the violin. He was called the Spanish (or Basque) Mozart (born exactly 50 years later!). He went to Paris to study music, but died 10 ays before his 20the birthday.
As he was born in Bilbao, this in fact makes him a Basque composer.
