Life
The Romanian composer Mihail Andricu was also a pianist and music critic. The New Grove gives 4 February as date of death, whereas Wikipedia gives 4 March.
Andricu studied at the Bucharest Conservatory, where he later also taught (chamber music and composition). He also spent some time in Paris with d’Indy and Fauré.
