Biography

When in Leipzig Johann Friedrich Agricola studied with Johann Sebastian Bach. Later he studied with Hasse in Dresden and Quantz and Graun in Berlin. Ther he worked as director of the Hofkapelle from 1759 till his death. He maried the singer Benedetta Molteni in 1751.
