The CD, "Twelve Etudes" (Albany Records) features Maria Corley in Adams’ most recent major work for solo piano. These studies are in varying tonalities, tempos, moods, and patterns, for both the intermediate and advanced performer.
Adams received Outstanding Composer Award by National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc. at its National Convention, Renaissance Marriot, Detroit, MI, August 2, 2004.
