Werkenlijst

Aanvankelijk geraakte hij in de ban van het expressionistische klankbeeld. Was een typisch Latijnse geest. Zocht zijn inspiratie in de folklore en paart ritmische oorspronklijkheid aan een volmaakt meesterschap over de vorm, waardoor zijn muziek een verfijnde sonoriteit en een groot expressievermogen heeft. Schreef balletten, kamer-, koor-, toneelmuziek, liederen, piano- en orkestwerken (rhapsodieën).
